Undead wanted for Diefenbunker museum zombie adventure

Watch out, the Diefenbunker Museum is recruiting for its undead army.

Canada’s Cold War museum is looking for “lead zombies” and others to join its “mindless horde” October zombie adventure at the bunker.

The scary experience is called the “Incident at the Bunker: a Zombie Adventure” and is presented in partnership with Ottawa’s Haunted Walk.

Leaders of the undead help co-ordinate zombies, problem solve and assist with providing feedback on the guest experience.

Meanwhile, zombies in the horde “possess a love of zombies and the enjoyment of terrifying others.”

All zombie recruits must commit to a training session at the museum on Oct. 1 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30.

But what if you don’t want to be a zombie but want to join the fun?

The museum said they have a few live roles. Those interested in taking part should let them know if they want to join the experience dead or alive.

To apply, email [email protected] by Sept. 28.

The undead will be stumbling about on Oct. 14, 27, 28 and Nov. 4.
