Clearly, Culture is a key contributor to our enviable quality of life in Ottawa. And to our economy, with Culture and Tourism accounting for close to one in ten jobs.
As the Municipal election fast approaches (on October 22nd) please talk to your Ward and Mayoral candidates about the importance of Heritage and Culture. And ask them these questions:
If (re)elected, will you:
1. Make Culture one of the official Term of Council Priorities for 2019-22?
2. Champion greater investment in Heritage places, operations and programming?
