Events start Friday Oct.26 at 7 pm with a public lecture Architecture in the Circular Economy: Reclaiming Building Resources by Dr. Mark Gorgolewski (Ryerson), author of Resource Salvation, The Architecture of Reuse.
The symposium on the Saturday Oct.27 will include: a walking tour of recent materials reuse examples in Ottawa that are charged with complex symbolism, and three paper sessions that bring together established practitioners, current scholars and emerging policy-makers to discuss:
