Makers at the Museum: Mother’s Day Relaxation Workshop

May 13, 2018 - 12:00 - 16:00

Ages 16 and up

Bath bombs may be a new addition to our relaxation routines, but women have long used natural oils, teas, and herbs to make the most of their leisure time. A local artisan from Zoe’s Corner will lead you in a workshop (3 hours) where you will use essential oils and teas to make 10 bath bombs you can take home with you at the end of the day. You’ll learn more about the uses of aromatherapy and explore the fascinating history of the Bell family women while enjoying the unique ambiance of this 19th century Gothic Revival home. A tour of the house will be offered and refreshments will be served.
