‘Pop’ Culture

Explore all things ‘pop’ culture at the museum this Father’s Day! The 1920s and 1930s saw more and more popular culture products hit the market for mass consumption. Widely accessible mass communication technologies like radio and movies meant popular culture became an influential part of people’s daily lives. Learn to dance the Charleston and the Foxtrot, print your own newspaper advertisement, and more! From silent films and the Group of Seven, to mail order catalogues and frozen meals, experience what was new and popular in the era.

Cost: $7.50 adults, $5.50 seniors and students, $19.25 families (2 adults + children), children 5 and under are free. Memberships are welcome.
