Your essay must be original and must not be published anywhere. Essays must provide references of sources cited. Entries will be assessed on clear expression of ideas as well as logical layout of arguments.
Winning entries will be announced during The Great India Festival, August 10, 11, 12 – 2018. Authors of the winning submissions will receive prizes and their submissions may be published in local newspapers and posted on the website. There will be 2 prizes for school students (grade 12 or lower) and 2 prizes for the rest, for a total of 4 prizes. The first prize will be a cash award for $200, and the second prize will be a cash award for $100 – in each category.
